Contents of a Petition.
Loyetsow, Kewchartae, Chingtungkai and Lokanying humbly state to His Excellency the Plenipotentiary, that they possess at Chacwan (Saiwan) land to the amount of 70 mow, bequeathed to them by their ancestors, and as it has been destroyed they humbly beg that His Excellency might be pleased to grant a compensation for the same.
